Truro Health innovation centre building completed
The centre is due to be formally opened in March 2013
The building of a £13m health innovation centre in Truro has been completed a year after work started.
The Health and Wellbeing Innovation Centre at the Royal Cornwall Hospital Trust site is to be operated by the University of Plymouth.
The site will offer offices and workspace for companies involved in the health sector, Cornwall Council said.
It is due to be formally opened in March 2013.
The project has been supported by Cornwall Development Company, which received almost £10m from the European Regional Development Fund, plus £3.3m from the council.
The centre is the third such facility in the county.
It follows the construction of the Pool Innovation Centre which opened in July 2010, and the Tremough Innovation Centre which opened in January.
