Sister thanks villagers for unidentified man's funeral

The sister of a man who was buried 23 years ago unidentified has thanked villagers for the "wonderful turnout" at his funeral.

For almost quarter of a century Michael Sutherland, from Cleethorpes in Lincolnshire, was known at Weybourne in Norfolk as "the man with no name".

Thanks to modern technology his identity was established and his sister, Ann Stockton, was among members of his family who joined villagers at a memorial service in the church were he was buried.
