Electricity restored following power cut

Electricity has been restored to all 542 customers near the Norfolk-Suffolk border who lost their power.

Winds brought trees down on to power lines near Diss at about 07:15 BST.

UK Power Networks said most homes had electricity restored within half an hour, but about 200 customers remained without cut off.

The company said all homes around Blo Norton and Garboldisham in Norfolk and Thelnetham and Hinderclay in Suffolk had been reconnected by 14:45 BST.
