£20m boost for Thames Gateway businesses

A new £20m fund is being launched to help businesses in the Thames Gateway.

The money will come in low-interest, unsecured loans from the government organisation, TIGER (Thames Gateway Innovation, Growth and Enterprise).

Funds will be available to any business in north Kent and Thurrock, and companies who can show the cash will provide extra jobs will be prioritised.

The scheme is one of 130 nationally to receive money from the government's £2.4bn Regional Growth Fund.

The loans are available to businesses of any size in Dartford, Gravesham, Medway, Swale and Thurrock.
