Charges over Sawley and Underwood post office robberies
Two men arrested in connection with robberies at two post offices in the East Midlands have been charged with more than a dozen offences.
They are accused of attempted robbery, robbery and possession of an offensive weapon in Underwood, Nottinghamshire, on 3 October.
They are also accused of robbery and possession of an imitation firearm in Sawley, Derbyshire, on 5 October.
The men, aged 35 and 39, were arrested in Forest Fields, Nottingham.
They will appear at Nottingham Magistrates' Court on Friday.
Both are also charged with burglary, theft, and theft of a motor vehicle on 1 October.
They are charged with theft from a motor vehicle between 1 and 4 October.
They are accused of committing burglary, theft, and theft of a motor vehicle on 10 October, as well as theft from a motor vehicle between 9 and 11 October.
The 35-year-old is also charged with dangerous driving on 10 October.
