Bude RNLI crew stops runaway boat
A lifeboat crew boarded an unmanned fishing boat as it circled out of control under full power in the sea off Bude in Cornwall.
The fishing boat's skipper had been thrown into the sea by a wave and in a dramatic rescue RNLI crewmen Liam Sharpe and Mike Tame used ropes to slow the boat and jump on board.
Lifeboat operations manager Chris Cloke said: "It was an unusual job that needed initiative and team work and thanks to the rigorous training that the crew undertake the situation had a successful outcome."
