M62 crash: Wallasey man on death by dangerous driving charge

A Merseyside man has been charged with causing death by dangerous driving in connection with a crash on the M62 motorway in Greater Manchester.

Ashfaq Ahmed, 36, from the Bradford area, died in hospital after the five-vehicle crash close to junction 20, near Rochdale at 17:10 BST on 30 May.

Another man, 27, was taken to hospital for treatment and later discharged.

Niall Yeldham, 34, of Valkyrie Road, Wallasey is due before Bury Magistrates' Court on 9 October.
