Britten's former school prepares for composer's centenary
Benjamin Britten's former school has been preparing to mark the Suffolk composer's centenary next year.
Britten, the first composer to be honoured with a life peerage, was born in Lowestoft. He died in Aldeburgh in 1976.
His life and work is being celebrated by pupils Gresham's School at Holt in Norfolk where he began boarding in 1928.
