Campaign for Luftwaffe pilots' burial in German cemetery

Help

Efforts are under way to move the bodies of two Luftwaffe pilots to a German cemetery after their unmarked graves were discovered in Whitstable 72 years after their death.

The two airmen were shot down over Kent and had been buried underneath graves of other German servicemen who were later exhumed.

A campaign has been launched to move both of the bodies to the German war cemetery, in Cannock Chase, Staffordshire.
