HMS Enterprise sets sail from Falmouth on nine-month deployment
HMS Enterprise left Falmouth after a month in the town
A Plymouth-based Royal Navy survey ship has set off on a nine-month deployment to the Middle East after spending a month in Cornwall.
HMS Enterprise sailed from Falmouth after work was completed on a davit [crane] used to lift its new 9m (29.5ft) survey motor boat in and out of the water, the navy said.
Data it collected would be used to update sea charts, it added.
The 90m (295ft) Echo class vessel has a crew of 50.
