Police patrols hunt farm equipment thieves

Devon and Cornwall Police has carried out a series of night-time patrols in an operation to try to catch farm equipment thieves.

Such thefts in rural areas in Cornwall, Devon, Dorset and Somerset added up to £7.5m in 2012, officers said.
