A woman died four days after collapsing at the V Festival in Staffordshire.

Rhiannon Morris, 27, from St Austell, Cornwall, collapsed in the main arena at Weston Park on Saturday afternoon.

Ms Morris was airlifted to the University Hospital of North Staffordshire where she died in the early hours of Wednesday morning.

The South Staffordshire coroner said her death was not being treated as suspicious and there was no suggestion of any drug involvement.

Ms Morris was treated by emergency crews at the scene, said the coroner's office.

A post-mortem examination is to be carried out within the next few days.

It is the second death during this year's event. Timothy Brockhurst, 22, from Market Drayton, Shropshire, was found not breathing in his tent in the early hours of Sunday morning.

His death is also not being treated as suspicious.
