Olympic rower Helen Glover amazed by Penzance welcome
Cornwall's Olympic rowing gold medallist Helen Glover said she was amazed by the welcome she received on her return to Penzance.
Thousands lined the streets to see her being given an open top bus tour and a civic reception.
The former Humphry Davy School pupil, who won the coxless pairs, was also taken between Penzance and Newlyn on the Penlee lifeboat.
