Olympics 2012: Army 'inspired' by rowing pair win

Help

Yeovil-born Heather Stanning and her team-mate Helen Glover have made history by winning the first gold medal in women's rowing.

Stanning has taken time off from her career as an Army captain with the Royal Artillery to train for the Olympics.

Larkhill Army base in Wiltshire was closed off temporarily so that troops could watch the race.
