Boy, 4, airlifted from Tregonhawke Beach after fall on rocks

A boy has been airlifted to hospital with suspected spinal injuries after falling on rocks at a beach in Cornwall.

The four-year-old slipped at Tregonhawke Beach, Whitsand in Cornwall.

Brixham Coastguard said a rescue helicopter from RNAS Culdrose was alerted to the incident.

The boy was flown to Derriford Hospital in Plymouth for treatment. His condition is not known.
