Extra late night trains, additional carriages and more frequent weekend services have been introduced for the Olympics, Greater Anglia has announced.

Services will also be stopping at more stations in Cambridgeshire, Essex, Hertfordshire, Norfolk and Suffolk.

And Sunday trains will run to a revised timetable on key routes.

About 150,000 extra seats will be available each day on trains serving London Liverpool Street and Stratford, the firm said.

Additional staff will be able to provide information at key stations.

A spokesperson said: "Their main focus will be to give information concerning Games-related activity."
