Kent boat runs aground near Beachy Head in Sussex
A 37ft (11m) cruiser ran aground on submerged rocks when its engine failed after rounding Beachy Head.
The boat, which had recently undergone extensive repairs in its home port of Sandwich, in Kent, was swept onshore and began bouncing against the rocks on Thursday afternoon.
Eastbourne RNLI towed the boat, which had two people on board, off the rocks and into deeper water.
It was taken to safety in Sovereign Harbour, Eastbourne.
