Eden Project unveils England's longest zip wire

Help

Visitors to Cornwall's Eden Project will soon be able to soar over the whole site at more than 30mph via a thin wire.

It is claimed the zip wire at the centre, near St Austell, will be the longest of its kind in England.

The 2,165ft (660m) zip wire will open to the public on 20 July. The attraction was built by Brian Phelps and commissioned by Eden Project director Ramone van de Velde.

David George reports.
