Giant pumps solve drinking water shortage

Anglian Water has begun installing four giant pumps to move drinking water from county to county.

The pumps at Grafham Water in Cambridgeshire will pump water to homes in Northamptonshire and Milton Keynes normally serviced by the Pitsford Reservoir.

The recent drought exposed problems in moving water around the region.
