Saltburn Pier's knitted Diamond Jubilee figures mystery
A series of knitted figures with a Diamond Jubilee theme have appeared tied to Saltburn Pier on Teesside.
It is the latest in a series of topical creations by a "phantom knitter".
In March, an Olympic-themed woollen scarf, stretching 50m out to sea, was tied to the railings on the pier.
