Foday Chorr Nursing assistant Foday Chorr denies five counts of sexual assault

A psychiatric nursing assistant who is accused of sexually assaulting two patients in East Sussex is to have his case heard at crown court.

Foday Chorr, 45, of Shorncliffe Drive, Shrewsbury, Shropshire, denies carrying out five counts of sexual assault on the women last June.

He is accused of committing the offences at a unit on the site of Eastbourne District General Hospital.

Mr Chorr is due to appear at Lewes Crown Court for trial on 1 June.

He had been due to face trial at Eastbourne Magistrates' Court on Friday but the case was committed to the crown court.
