Delays possible as heavy load travels to Shropshire

Motorists in Gloucestershire and Wiltshire are being warned of delays as an abnormal load travels between RAF Kemble and RAF Cosford in Shropshire.

The transporter, which is being escorted by police on 17 March, is 82ft (24.9m) long, 20ft (6.1m) wide.

It will set off at 06:30 GMT on the A429, head south on the A419 and join the M4 westbound at junction 15.

"Due to its size it will be slow moving and will have the potential to create congestion," a police spokeswoman said.
