Parliament Square campers evicted ahead of court decision

Protesters have been evicted by police from their long-running peace camp in Parliament Square.

Officers arrested three people and dismantled about 30 tents from the site on Monday night. Westminster Council said it hoped its new by-law would keep the area clear of protests in future.

The move comes ahead of the High Court decision over the Occupy London camp, based outside St Paul's Cathedral.
