Women to sue Metropolitan Police for 'emotional trauma'
Eight women who claimed to have had relationships with undercover police officers are suing the Metropolitan Force alleging emotional trauma.
Three of the women claim they had relationships with Mark Kennedy, the officer who infiltrated a group of climate change protesters in Nottingham.
Harriet Wistrich, from the law firm Birnberg Peirce, is representing the women and said the relationships had "caused significant harm" to her clients.
The Metropolitan police said it was considering a letter from the lawyers.
