Environment Agency's drought warning for East's farmers

Farmers have been warned of a major water shortage with rainfall levels in the east at their lowest for 90 years.

The Environment Agency says that over the coming months at least 10ins (25cms) of rainfall was needed, 120% of the average, after what it called an "exceptionally dry period".
