Help

The Rowridge television transmitter site on the Isle of Wight has opened its doors to show how preparations for the switchover have been progressing.

In February 2012 analogue television transmitters in the south of England will be switched off and viewers without digital boxes will lose reception.

A new 614ft (187m) high transmitter has been erected at Rowridge.
