Bean bag exercises help man deal with dyslexia

Help

Two dyslexic men from the East Midlands have been talking about the different approaches they have found to deal with their condition.

Steve Davis, from Fleckney in Leicestershire, has started a series of physical exercises to help ease his reading problems.

Glenn Allgood, from the Dore Programme, said the moves helped to stimulate the cerebellum - the brain's skill centre.

Meanwhile ceramic artist Paul Cummins, from Chesterfield in Derbyshire, has colour dyslexia which means he sees words as a spectrum of colours.

He is now assisted by a personal mentor who helps convert his thoughts and ideas into writing.
