Food banks helping Merseysiders on the breadline

Inside Out's Andy Johnson meets people on Merseyside who are living on the breadline.

As the economic situation worsens food banks are becoming a way of life for some people living in poverty.

Carl, 41, came to Liverpool from his home town of Wolverhampton 13 years ago.

He says he has run out of money and has come to his local food bank for help.

Inside Out North West can be seen nationwide on the BBC iPlayer for seven days after 31 October.
