Aerial archaeologist's bird's eye view of Fens

Ben Robinson from Cambridgeshire is one of a handful of aerial archaeologists in Britain.

Flying hundreds or even thousands of feet above ground gives him a new and entirely different perspective, revealing archaeological secrets hidden for centuries.

One of Ben's first discoveries was a group of burial mounds in Cambridgeshire when he noticed some unusual pale circular marks in the crops on the edge of the Fens.

Inside Out East looks at his discoveries on BBC One East on Monday, 31 October at 19:30 GMT and nationwide afterwards on the iPlayer.
