Hammersmith and Fulham Council's consultant use questioned
Only one of the seven consultants employed by a London council has a formal agreement with the local authority, an independent report has found.
The audit by Deloitte looked at the arrangements around the consultants employed by Conservative-run Hammersmith and Fulham Council.
Labour opposition on the council said the lack of proper documentation meant the council could have "wasted up to £12m" a year.
The council said it had accepted the recommendations of the report and was making changes.
