London riots: Police officer discusses challenges
Londoners believe the Metropolitan Police (Met) is doing a good job despite criticism of it during the riots, according to a BBC London survey.
It found 77% of those surveyed thought the Met was doing a very or fairly good job.
And 56% thought it did a very good or fairly good job of handling the violence and looting in August.
Met officer PC Paul Warner told BBC Inside Out London about the challenges he faced during the disorder.
The programme investigates the aftermath of the riots on Monday 17 October on BBC One London at 19:30 BST and across the UK on BBC iPlayer.
