Loughborough DJ warns of tinnitus risk from loud music


A Leicestershire DJ is urging gig-goers and musicians to be aware of the potential damage to hearing caused by listening to loud music.

Jason Kinch, from Loughborough, has tinnitus - a constant ringing in both ears - for which there is no cure.

Peter Wilson from the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health said people needed to understand the importance of protecting their ears.
