Suffolk car crash baby seriously hurt

An 18-month old baby girl has been seriously injured in a car crash in Suffolk in which the driver died.

The accident happened on the A14 at Trimley St Martin on Saturday.

Akman Ullah, 49, from Holland Road, Felixstowe, was pronounced dead at the scene after the green BMW overturned. No other vehicle was involved.

The baby was taken to Ipswich Hospital but transferred to Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge where she is in a serious condition.

Suffolk Police have appealed for any witnesses to come forward.
