Former airman marks 70 years since joining RAF
A former airman is commemorating the 70th anniversary of his going to war.
Ted Cachart from Derbyshire was only 15 when he joined the RAF. He was so desperate to sign up, that he lied about his age.
Three years later he was in a prisoner-of-war camp in Germany.
BBC East Midlands Today's James Roberson reports.
