Rio Ferdinand appeals to catch Peckham friend's killers

England defender Rio Ferdinand appealed for information about the murder of a family friend who was shot in south London last September.

Rio McFarlane, 18, who was described as a "promising footballer", was shot in the chest in Peckham, where he and the Manchester United defender grew up.

In a video message posted on YouTube, Ferdinand asked anyone who might know the killer to speak to the police.
