Sussex astronaut returns to old school

Help

Sussex-born Piers Sellers returned to his former Kent school to encourage pupils learning maths and physics.

Dr Sellers, who was born in Crowborough, East Sussex, has flown on three space shuttle missions, most recently in May 2010.

He took part in physics lessons during a visit to Cranbrook School on Monday.

Dr Sellers also told BBC South East's Robin Gibson what he planned to do once the space shuttle fleet was finally grounded.
