Alert as 'killer shrimp' found
The Environment Agency has issued an alert over what it describes as a "killer shrimp" which threatens local wildlife.
Conservationists have expressed "extreme concern" over the discovery of dikerogammarus villosus at Grafham Water in Cambridgeshire, due to its potential impact on local eco-systems.
It is said to be the first time that the shrimp, which is normally found in central Asia, has been spotted in the UK.
