First boats in 80 years travel on Droitwich Barge Canal
A boat has travelled on the Barge Canal in Droitwich for the first time in about 80 years, after a £12m restoration.
The 5-mile (8km) section of canal reconnects the Worcestershire town with the rest of the inland waterways.
Jason Leach, of British Waterways, told Andy Newman of BBC Midlands Today that canal restoration was "a proven economic regenerator" for towns and cities.
