Herpes found in Kent oyster stock

The movement of oysters from parts of Kent is banned after a form of herpes wipes out shellfish stocks at a Whitstable farm.

Kent Denham, the head of the Fish Health Inspectorate, said it was the first outbreak he had seen in the UK.
