The Papers: Saturday's front pages

9 August 2014 Last updated at 01:15 BST

Louise Court, editor-in-chief of Cosmopolitan, and Sue Matthias, editor of the Financial Times Weekend Magazine, joined the BBC News Channel to review Saturday's front pages.

They started by talking about US air strikes in Iraq - and debated to what extent British forces could become involved. They also touched on the affect it might have on oil companies based in the country.

They then moved on to a report in the Daily Mail which says official advice will be that people should not drink alcohol two days in a row.

And they considered the Daily Express's front page which warns that the UK is about to be battered by a storm from across the Atlantic.
