A group of Cumbrian schoolboys have discovered a rare golden hair tress thought to be 4,000 years old.

The boys, aged between seven and ten, were taking part in an archaeological dig at Kirkhaugh, when they dug up the gold.

Altogether Archaeology project leader Paul Frodsham, who was there at the time, told BBC Radio 5 live's Drive the find was "priceless".
