Glasgow Cathedral service to mark start of World War One

A special service has been held at Glasgow Cathedral to mark the outbreak of World War One.

Prince Charles, David Cameron and Scotland's First Minister Alex Salmond attended along with Commonwealth heads of government and UK and Irish politicians.

Journalists Kate Adie OBE and Sir Trevor MacDonald gave readings at the service.
