The papers: Saturday's front pages

2 August 2014 Last updated at 02:14 BST

Media commentator Neil Midgley and broadcaster Lesley Riddoch joined the BBC News Channel to review Saturday's front pages.

They began by discussing the Guardian's lead report about the conflict in Gaza, before moving on to the Daily Mirror's headline suggesting that the spread of the deadly virus Ebola is "out of control".

The pair then examined a story on the Financial Times front page about a "split" in the airline industry's approach to flying over the conflict zone in Iraq.
