A 32-year-old man has been bailed after being arrested on suspicion of arranging funding for terrorism as part of an investigation linked to Syria.

He was arrested by counter-terrorism officers at a house in west London on Wednesday and questioned at a south London police station.

The man, who was also held on suspicion of fraud, has been bailed until August.

Police said 12 addresses were searched as part of the investigation - one in Hertfordshire and 11 in west London.

They said the enquiries related to an investigation into suspected terrorist activity in Syria.
