Hacking: Coulson and Goodman face re-trial over corrupt payments

Andy Coulson and Clive Goodman are to face a re-trial on a charge that they bought royal telephone directories from police officers.

The pair face allegations of conspiracy to commit misconduct in public office after a jury failed to reach a verdict on the charges last week.

Coulson, 46, of Charing, Kent, is a former editor of the News of the World.
