Osborne: We must listen to the anxiety and anger

Chancellor George Osborne has said the Conservative Party must "listen to the anxiety and anger" of UKIP voters.

Responding to the results of the local elections, Mr Osborne said the party must "take seriously" the concerns of UKIP voters and "respond with answers".

Speaking to the Today programme's John Humphrys, Mr Osborne denied that the party would do a deal with UKIP.
