21 May 2014 Last updated at 17:46 BST

An RAF plane has joined the search for four British sailors missing in the Atlantic.

The 40-foot Cheeki Rafiki was sailing back to the UK from a regatta in Antigua when it got into difficulties.

The US Coast Guard has resumed the search following an official request from the British government and pressure from relatives.

Mary Bridge, mother of the boat's skipper Andrew, said she was optimistic he would be found.
