Afghanistan helicopter crash 'a tragic accident'

The Ministry of Defence has said a helicopter crash which killed five service personnel in Afghanistan on Saturday was probably a "tragic accident".

An investigation has begun into how the Lynx helicopter came down in Kandahar province.

Speaking outside RAF Odiham, Commander Joint Helicopter Command Maj Gen Richard Felton paid his ''heartfelt condolences'' to the families.
