Oxford have powered to their fifth Boat Race victory in seven years against university rivals Cambridge.

They forged ahead on the River Thames, after one of the Cambridge crew almost fell into the water after an apparent clash of oars.

Oxford now trail Cambridge 81-78 in the overall series.

The BBC's Jon Brain was at the finish line and spoke to Malcolm Howard, President of the Oxford University Boat Club.
