Sideline silence at youth football matches

Anyone who regularly watches their children play football has probably shouted support from the sidelines, but sometimes that friendly support can go too far, and turn abusive.

This weekend fans at junior matches in Lancashire are being asked to stand on the sidelines in silence.

The county's Football Association is hoping it will improve behaviour at games.
